Can I swim in the salt lakes and Cleopatra’s spring?

At Cleopatra’s spring, yes: the programme leaves time to swim. In the salt lakes the water is so salty that you float, so keep it out of your eyes. Bring swimwear and a towel.

Can I travel with children?

Yes. A child under 6 pays $99 from Cairo ($59 from Siwa), shares the parents' room and does not join the safari. Ages 6 to 11 pay 65% of the adult price. The safari is open from age 6.
